- Stem solid, firm, prostrate ascending.

- Upper leaves alternate, leaflets lanceolate oboval, the terminal stipitate, broad, slightly exceeding the stalk. Stipules ovate lanceolate wide at the base.

- Flowers light-yellow 3-15 in small, ovoid, 8-10 mm long heads.

- Fruit : prominent pod with 2-3 seeds.

- Biological type: annual.
