- First leaf simple rounded, later 3-foliolate.


Adult plant snapshot Adult plant:

- Height: 10-30 cm.

- Stem erect, branched.

- Upper leaves alternate, leaflets oboval cuneate at base, the terminal stipitate, obtuse or slightly notched tip, margin serrate beyond the middle; terminal leaflets with a longer stalk than the lateral. Stipules ovate lanceolate wide at the base.

- Flowers golden-yellow then brownish, 20 and more in small dense racemes.

- Fruit : pod.

- Plant melliferous and diuretic.

- Biological type: annual or biennial.
