- Flowers light-yellow, their peduncle furrowed, small. Sepals hairy, petals longer than the calyx.

- Fruits flattened, spiny, conspicuously bordered. Beak slightly hooked, 7-8 mm long.

- Plant toxic. Rare in crops.
