- Cotyledons elliptical to ovate, with rounded tip, sessile.
-Divided leaves, palmate.
- Height: 20-40 cm.
- Stem erect, branched, more or less lanate.
- Lower leaves in rosette. Elongated leaves, divided, pinnate, with linear very restricted segments, terminated by small mucron. Flowers white ligulate and tubulous yellow grouped in capitulum of 15-20 mm; scales of the receptacle large with triangular top.
- Fruits: external achenes on each capitulum surrounded by 2 slender wings and angular at top.
