- Cotyledons elliptic or ovate, acute at the apex, sessile.
- Leaves entire, elliptic or ovate, margins entire.
- Height: 20-60 cm. Plant greyish, smoothly hairy, nearly lanate, with a strong scent of musk.
- Stem erect or decumbent, pyramid-shaped branched, with branches obscurely angular, nearly smooth, neither winged nor dentate.
- Leaves alternate, stalked, ovate, sinuate -dentate. Prominent veins.
- Flowers white, rather small, in umbellate few-flowered cymes ; fruiting peduncles often shorter than the pedicels ; calyx densely hairy, with ovate lobes ; corolla lanate, 3-4 times as long as the calyx.
