Adult plant snapshot Adult plant:

- Height: 20-80 cm.

- Stem: terete or flattened, grooved on its length.

- Leaves green or slightly glaucous, longer or shorter than the stem, 3-18 mm broad, flat or channelled above, obtuse at the apex.

- Flowers white and yellow on lengthened and unequal peduncles, 2-12 on the top of the stem. Flower sweet-smelling, with a broad spathe. Perianth spreading sometimes deflexed, ovate or ovate-lengthened, shorter or as long as the corona.

- Plant ornamental, sold when cut.

- Rare in crops.

- Risk of confusion at seedling stage with Nothoscordum inodorum (Aiton) Nichol.

- Biological type: perennial with bulbs.
