- Cotyledons cordate at the base.
- Leaves entire, rounded, with distant teeth.

- Stem: sparsely haired, decumbent or ascending.
- Leaves lobed, crenate. Blade more or less divided in 5-7 lobes and long-stalked.
- Flowers white or lilac, numerous, axillary, on peduncles up to 10 mm when ripe. Petals slightly darker along the vein, with dense bearded claws, deeply notched.
- Fruit ripe in disk, separating in mericarps ; carpels smooth or slightly wrinkled, rounded border slightly grooved on the back.
