- Cotyledons round to oval, rounded ends, sessile.
- Foliage leaves divided with narrow linear segments; first pinnate, then dipinnate; slightly hairy.
- Seedling differs little from Anthemis austriaca .
- Height: 10-40 cm.
- Stem erect or prostrate, downy haired; profusely branched from the base with erect spreading branches.
- Foliage leaves divided, oblong ovate, simply pinnatifid or dipinnatifid, segments 1mm broad; if ground, plant gives a strong, aromatic smell of lemon; woolly pubescent
- Flower : heads 25-35 mm broad, long-stalked; yellow disk florets, white ray flowers ; scales dentate and with cusp at the apex.
- Seed 1.5-2 mm long, outer ones deeply angular grooved.

- Spread: In the eastern parts of the country often very abundant in all cultivated fields.
