- Seedling differs little from Anthemis ruthenica .

- Stem erect, usually well branched with oblique upright branches, hairy.
- Foliage leaves regularly multi-pinnate, woolly pubescent.
- Flower : heads single, with yellow disk florets and white ray florets, 2-3,5 cm diameter.
- Seed compressed, acute-angled.
- When ground, plant has a spicy scent.

- Spread: comes from the East; often found in warm, summer-arid areas in Great-Britain.
