stamens. Female flower 3-5 unilateral at bottom of spathe. Spathe brown or greenish. Inflorescence in spadix.
- Fruits: fleshy capsules, red; truncated hemisphere. Contains 2 to 8 seeds
- Toxic plant, leaves and fruits. Leaves and tuber are emetic. - Risk of confusion with: Arum italicum Miller.
