LPA-INRA is project coordinator and leader of Workpackages on "Molecular tools to characterise field arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and monitor inoculum" and "Project management".
Specific molecular probes will be developed, based on 25S ribosomal gene polymorphism, to monitor efficient AMF after inoculation onto field-grown food crops. Research will be in close collaboration with HAU to obtain discriminating probes. LPA-INRA will also participate in the training of young scientists in molecular techniques, and will provide expertise on inoculum production, in cooperation with a subcontracted french SME producing inoculum (Biorize SA). |
