| IIB is leader of a work package "A Stock Centre without Walls and an On-line Database of Chinese Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF)" and will oversee aspects of work dealing with AMF identification and registration in the chinese stock centre. IIB will cooperate with HKPU to set up and run a chinese database of AMF, on a basis similar to that of the Banque Européenne des Glomales. Molecular techniques will be used to determine the complexity of AMF in the chinese stock centre and fungal populations colonising field crops in targeted regions in China. IIB will be active in training of chinese scientists in AMF identification and in running of a workshop within the project. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
