- Leaves entire, elliptic or ovate, entire-margined.


Adult plant snapshot Adult plant:

- Height: 10-50 cm. Plant glabrous.

- Stem slender and rough.

- Upper leaves linear, entire or dentate.

- Flowers white-pinky, in flat and somewhat lax heads, on slender peduncle.

- Fruit ovoid, conical, convex with 3 thin veins on the back, glabrous; 2 empty and narrow loculi on each side of the fertile not corky loculus.

- Biological type: annual.

Mistake with: at seedling stage with all the other species of Valerianella .
