- Height: 5-25 cm. Plant softly hairy, whitish.

- Stem erect or ascending with upper internodes more long;

- Leaves all alternate, with small obcordate serrate tip leaflets ; stipules broad with an ovate -obtuse free part, dentate.

- Flowers white-pinky in heads globose, terminal, 15-25 mm, spherical-ovate, with long peduncles (3 to 10 cm); calyx -teeth long, narrow, stellate when mature; flower nearly as long as the calyx.

- Fruit : pod.

- Plant protected in Charentes-Poitou (decree 19/04/88).[France]

- Biological type: annual.

- Risk of confusion at seedling stage with all the other species of Trifolium and the species of Oxalis .
