- Leaves entire, ovate or triangular, irregularly dentate.

- Basal leaves in rosette, oboval and stalked. Further entire or dentate. Stem leaves oval -oblong, amplexicaul by obtuse or subacute auricles.

- Fruit : silicule ovate-cuneate, slightly attenuate at base, broadly winged and notched, with a peduncle held nearly perpendicular to the stem; style very short, included; seeds smooth, 3-5 in each cell.
