- Leaves entire, elliptic or ovate, regularly dentate.

- Lower leaves in rosette. Cauline leaves opposite, stalked, ovate-obtuse, truncate or somewhat cordate at base, regularly crenulate.
- Flowers white-pinky, small, spreading, 3-6 in whorls interrupted below. Fruiting spike hairy, greenish, not silky. Calyx small (5-6 mm), green, hirsute regularly campanulate, with teeth subequal lanceolate slightly mucronate, ciliate, as long as the tube ; corolla 6-7 mm, slightly exceeding the calyx.
