- Flowers white, 3-8 in cymes. Pedicels not reflexed during fruiting.

- Fruits : green or black berries (1 cm), surrounded by the calyx till the middle or the upper half. Seeds 2 mm, circa 45-60 in a berry.

- Plant native of Brazil. Rare in crops.

- Biological type: annual.
