- Leaves lower cylindric, somewhat flattened, mucronate, attenuate at base, punctate, erect. Cauline leaves erect in pseudo-bracts.

- Flower very pale-yellow, subsessile, corymb always straight corymb. Sepals lanceolate ; petals erect, linear, awl -like.

- Cultivated as ornamental plant for rock gardens. Melliferous. Rare in crops.

- Biological type: perennial.
