- Inflorescence : 3-8 spikes fascicle -like, shrunken, sessile, dark and greyish, ovoidal or lanceolate 5-10 mm; stigmas 3; floral bract mucronate.

- Fruit : nut 1.5-2 mm, fusiform, trigonous, transversely rugulose.

- Risk of confusion with: other species of the same genus.

- Biological type : perennial.
