- Leaves ovate with rounded tip.

- Stems ascending to erect, glabrous, branched.
- Leaves glabrous, alternate, the lower ones in basal rosette, deeply pinnately lobed with 7-13 ovate elliptic lobes with the terminal lobe larger than the lateral ones, the upper leaves sessile or clasping stem at base, with fewer lobes.
- Flowers yellow with petals hardly exceeding calyx.
- Fruit 6-8 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, longer than patent pedicel, opening into two many-seeded valves.
