-Cotyledons oblong, spoon shaped.
-Leaves entire lanceolate more or less dentate.
-Height : 20-40 cm.
-Stem often branched from the base, recumbent or erect, angular, pubescent and slightly rough.
-Leaves entire and pinnipartite, the upper and middle leaves attenuate or rounded at the base. Entire, spatulate, oblong; the others pinnatipartite with very large terminal segment, 2-8 (or more) segments, lanceolate, rounded on top.
-Flowers whitish, small, irregular, within raceme with oblong end. 6 sepals a little accrescent and 6 petals, the upper lamina digitate. 20 stamens, with filaments not dilated at top.
-Fruits : capsules bent, large (13x8 mm), elliptical, obovate, with 3 acuminate teeth, seeds kidney-shaped, swollen, yellowish.
