- Height: 10-40 cm.

- Stem spreading, diffuse, covered with long smooth and yellowish hairs.

- Lower leaves somewhat cordate at the base of the blade, roundish in outline with 3-5 roundish lobes. Cauline leaves cut near the half part, acute lobes.

- Flowers yellow, very small (6-8 mm). Sepals reflexed. Peduncles slender, without furrows. Carpels with tubercles and tapered into a short hooked point.

- Fruit small (3 mm), flattened, roundish. Hooked spines on the faces. Short hooked beak.

- Plant poisonous.

- Biological type: annual or biennial.
