- Height: 10-30 cm. Plant with bulb and bulbils ; Bulb with thick and surrounding layers, joined on their lower 1/3.

- Stem erect.

- Leaves more or less spreading, channelled above and hooded, green with a broad white band shining at the middle.

- Flowers white in corymbose raceme. Bracts lengthened, acute, at first erect, then spreading after flowering. Perianth segments, ovate -elongate in outline, white with a broad green band on the middle of the back.

- Fruit : ovoid, 6-angled with equal furrows.

- Biological type: perennial with bulbs.
