- Flowers purple (lilac) or light-blue, purple-striped, 2-7 on peduncles longer than the leaf. Sepals with 5 strong veins and an awn 4 mm long, unequal petals, the more larger the more notched.
- Fruit with a very long beak : 7-10 cm, covered with whitish hairs and small glandular hairs.
