- Cotyledons elliptical, with rounded tip, more or less petiolate.
- Entire leaves, ovate to triangular, irregularly dentate.
- Height: 30-100 cm.
- Stem erect, simple or branched and 4-angled at base, then quickly striate.
- Opposed lower leaves, elsewhere alternate. Lower leaves in hastate shape, lamina triangular with narrow base, straight or slightly rounded cordate and terminated by 2 lateral teeth. Other leaves petiolate, alternate, dark green, slack and not farinose sinuate and dentate. Lamina long and triangular shape, cut down and in cordate at base terminated by long slender point, margin sinuate, 2-4 pointed, triangular teeth.
- Flower small, greenish, not entirely farinose, grouped in glomerules in panicles. Carinate sepal same size as the fruit.
- Plant with disagreeable smell.
