- Leaves entire elliptical to ovate, with entire margin.


Adult plant snapshot Adult plant:

- Height: 3 to 20 cm. Hairy, viscous.

- Stem hairy, pale green, erected rising.

- Leaves pale green, ovate or elliptical, true opposed, pubescent.

- White or greenish small flowers, in slack cymes. Flowers with 5 to 10 stamens glabrous at their base. Sepals, and bracts scarious. Bracts membranous on margins. Petals shorter than calyx and each terminated by 2 teeth. Peduncles shorter than bracts.

- Fruits : straight cylindrical capsules, half length of calyx.

- - Risk of confusion with: Cerastium glomeratum Thuill.

- Biological type: annual.
