- Leaves : 1 mx0.5-1 cm, basal, semisheathing, triquetrous, spongy, glabrous, erect.
- Inflorescence : wide umbel at the axil of 2 oval bracts 2x1.5 cm, with 1 linear process 2-3 mm; flowers 3 cm in diam. with pinkish-white petals darker along the midrib and the outer side.
- Fruit : a whorl of 6 follicles hooked at the apex.
