- Cotyledons very narrow elongated (10 times longer than wide).
- Leaves divided, pinnate.
- Height: 20-60 cm.
- Stem thin, slightly striate, glabrous and hollow.
- Leaves petiolate, 2-3 times divided. Their outline inscribes an approximately equilateral triangle. Long white hairs at top of leaf sheath, on the petiole and the length of the veins on the lower surface of leaves.
- Flower white, small, in sessile umbel or pedunculate.*
- Fruits: piriform, short, ovoid achenes (3 mm), covered by small hooked bristles. Persistent carpophore on the inflorescence after the fruit fall.
Plant smells similar to chevril when crushed but less agreeable.
