- Plant propagates vegetatively by bulbs, establishment of seedlings are exceptional.


Adult plant snapshot Adult plant:

- Height: 30 80 cm.

- Stem cylindrical ,slightly hollow, leaves extend to middle.

- Leaves narrow, pointed, hollow, half cylindrical, grooved, green, rounded on lower face, 3 5 visible lines run along length slightly rough.

- Flower whitish or rose, variable in number, the floral stalks measure 1 4 cm, sepals and petals are ovate, elongated and approximately as long as stamens.

- Fruit: ovoid capsule restricted at 2 terminals.

- Plant with garlic smell.

- Biological type: perennial with bulbs.
