My research focus on the understanding of the biochemistry of the smell and taste perception.



PhD in molecular enzymology at Lorraine University under the supervision of Pr. Guy Branlant. Postodoctoral position in Karolinska Institut in two laboratories: the Brigitta and Staffan Normark laboratory, and the Adnane Achour laboratory.


Professional experience

From 2009, Ass. Professor in the Medical/Pharmaceutical school of the Burgundy University.


Research topic

I develop three axes focusing on the understanding of the perception of smell and taste at the molecular level. Axe 1: Caracterisation of the human proteins involved in the taste and smell modulation. Axe 2: Decephering the actif site modifications of the Drosophila Glutathione transferase enzymes during their evolution in link with their role in the taste and smell perception. Axe 3: Development of new microbiological organism for the recombinant protein production.
